About Us

We're a small type foundry in England, drawing typefaces by hand. To us a font is more than an alphabet: drawn letter by letter and tested in real use, it carries a voice and makes a design feel considered. That's what our work is about.

We enjoy seeing our type in use most of all. Knowing a font we drew in England is on a poster or a page on the other side of the world is the best part.

What pleases us most are the designers who come back for the next family, and the type used in good work. That's the sign that care is worth something.
